International Mobility. Part of a global mining company, this leading Engineering & Research Centre, is at the forefront of the Mining and Metallurgy industry. They are now looking for a Mechanical Engineer, specialised in designing Materials Handling and Lifting systems, to join their team on campus, close to Paris / France. THE JOB: • Reporting directly to the General Manager Engineering, • Be the Subject Matter Expert, working within various Project Teams, and other specialists. • Projects will involve existing and new sites, in Europe, Africa and Australasia. • Design, study and start projects in Materials Handling and Lifting systems, • Supervise the subcontracted projects and manage ongoing relationships with suppliers, • Participate in studies & projects: design solutions, costs estimates, computer simulations, write technical specifications prepare and manage tenders, supervision and follow-up of projects until tests, etc. YOU: • Mechanical Engineer, with minimum 5 years experience in Materials Handling. • Strong command of French and English. • Previous experience in mining/metallurgic industry would be a plus.
