Front Desk Executive

Position: Front Desk Executive
The Front Office Team looks after the needs of guests on arrival and during their stay in the serviced apartment.
Scope of Font Desk Services
1. Maintaining guest accounts including updating and managing VIP profiles.
2. You will be responsible for creating a professional impression as an ambassador for the Annam Suites brand at all times.
3. Full support to the Executive Concierge Team at all times.
4. Receive reservations for accommodation from clients, either in person or by telephone, fax or email
5. Take guests' details and allocate their rooms
6. Talk to transport carriers (e.g. airlines, bus companies, rental car agencies) to make travel arrangements for guests and to find lost luggage
7. Inform guests about the serviced apartment's facilities, policies and procedures
8. Provide tourist information to guests
9. Deal with enquiries and requests from guests
10. Take messages for guests
11. Calculate guests' bills and issue receipts upon payment
12. Arrange accommodation for guests travelling to other destinations
13. Perform cashier duties, cash travellers cheques and exchange foreign currency
14. Place guests' possessions in a safe if requested
15. Follow in-house procedures to help ensure the security of guests and employees
16. Perform general secretarial duties, such as preparing correspondence and attending to a switchboard.

Knowledge and skills:
· Advanced general computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Knowledge of the Sydney property market is essential, must do research on the internet.
· Must be a self-starter with great organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
· Comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously, reprioritizing as needed.
· Excellent communication skills with an ability to interact effectively with both internal and external customers
· A proven ability to work to strict time deadlines
· Superior organisational skills with immaculate personal presentation

Annam Suites will offer you the following:
