Our client is a leading technology focused manufacturer of replacement parts to suit major OEM earthmoving and drilling equipment and service providers to the mining industry.

This 100% Australian-owned and Perth-based company has experienced rapid growth and has recently completed a comprehensive restructure. They are now seeking an experienced Fitter/Machinist to join their expanding workshop operations.
Duties include:
- carrying out work in accordance with design specifications;
- verifying all previous operations are complete;
- quality control;
- meeting targets for production cost, quality standards, and delivery times;
- assisting in the continual improvement of production efficiency and minimising production lead times, whilst maintaining and improving quality standards
- maintenance and care for machines, tooling and equipment.

If you have:
- a trade qualification as a Fitter/Machinist, preferably a 1st Class Machinist, with gearbox or conveyer experience;
- an understanding of manufacturing specifications, eg drawings, procedures, etc;
- a good working knowledge of manufacturing such as manual, NC and CNC machining; grinding; fitting; tool making; drilling; and slotting;
- excellent numerical and trigonometric skills;
