Accountant Accountant - Sydney CBD - $70-$85K+super This leading company in Australia is currently seeking an experienced qualified Accountant to act as their Finance Manager in Sydney. The company is part of one of the world's leading recruitment organisations and the reporting line is into Europe but via the Australian MD. This stand alone role encompasses all of the accounting function, including: - Producing month-end pack according to reporting timetable - Processing the weekly contractor payroll - Timely lodgement of all tax returns, including Corporation, FBT, Payroll, GST and PAYG - Accounts Receivable and Payable - Management of regulatory compliance - Annual budget production - Cashflow - Provide assistance in researching tax and other implications of business operations in new jurisdictions. - Liaison with external accounting advisers and auditors - Provide assistance to Sales Consultants and Management as and when required The company's systems are predominantly based around MYOB and Excel, therefore previous MYOB experience is preferred though not essential. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role and only applications from candidates with CA or CPA qualifications will be considered. This is a stand alone role.
