We are currently seeking a talented MAINTENANCE professional to join our Maintenance Team as a HANDY PERSON on our Brampton Island Resort in the Whitsunday’s. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager you will have a hands-on role in a leading Engineering function at these outstanding resorts. Our General Handy Person’s assist our qualified trade’s people and look after all aspects of General Maintenance around the resort from painting and decorating, basic carpentry through to general maintenance and upkeep of guest areas. You will be an excellent communicator with proven Maintenance experience, you may also hold relevant Queensland licenses and/or other trade licenses and qualifications. Ideally you’ll be currently working as either, an HANDY PERSON or TRADES ASSISTANT or have recently held a similar role and be fully conversant with all relevant legislative requirements and best practice including OH&S. A Current Open Manual Drivers Licence would also be a distinct advantage for this role as would experience within a similar high quality resort environment. Voyages Island Resorts include some of Australia most beautiful Tropical Islands located throughout the Great Barrier Reef, surrounded by sparkling azure waters, white sandy beaches and coral gardens.
